I have to guess that I’m the only person with this agenda in June:
June 28: Screeching Weasel and Mr. T Experience at Dante’s
June 29: Belle & Sebastian at the Oregon Zoo
I’m learning JavaScript / ES6 on the fly, from coworkers, for work, while working on our internal (but open source) framework that uses React.
🎉This is awesome. I’m so excited. 🎉
Listened to “Boy Problems” by Carly Rae Jepsen this morning without shedding any tears. We call this progress.
This is an excellent way to greet a new employee. I’m EXCITED.
🎶(hate to see you lying there in your Superman skivvies) 🎶
Also, apologies to @vasta for him having to deal with my first microblog version of a thing I do on twitter: suddenly binge on someone’s feed, bombarding them with replies.
(it means I care enough to catch up, so I hope that helps!)
It’s been an awfully long time since I’ve waited this hungrily for a new album. Let’s hope it happens soon.
I leave tabs open in browsers for a long time. Sometimes when I go to clear them out, it’s a nice little archeological dig.
A month and a half after a breakup, though, seeing 5 week old windows full of tabs can be brutal.
Ugh. How’s your morning? 🙃
Cape Disappointment: not a cape, not a disappointment
If I lived here forever (and I have to say, it’s tempting) I’d definitely be Old Man Jim, the Guy Who Makes Egg Scrambles 🍳🏕
Glad I decided to come to the Sou’wester. Here’s where I sleep tonight. More pics soon, for sure.
Sometimes I understand the full awesomeness of collecting Field Notes…because sometimes you want to tell the people that you worked with for two years that they meant something to you. Thank you (Field) Notes, today.
There’s no part of me that can properly fathom that tomorrow is the final day at my current job. I work with great folks, but it was time to move along. Including my DayOne entry for my first day.
Without a Trace is definitely my all time fave Soul Asylum song. They played it when I saw them at Revolution Hall a couple summers ago and it was magic.
Starting to turn the corner here. Today I’m using an album by my ex’s favorite artist (see pic) as a breakup album, which is unusual but it’s working. If it works, I’m into it. Good karaoke prep, too 😉 🎤
I hit 700 consecutive days of meditation yesterday. It’s not always perfect, but it’s a part of my every day.
